Dock Street & Four Seasons A Beer Four All Seasons Spring Release Ongoing at Swann Lounge Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia We’re eager to release the second in our collaboration series! Caliente Golden Ale brewed with Blue Agave Nectar debuts on April 16th 2012. Like it’s predecessor, Truffled Old Ale, Caliente Golden is limited and available exclusively at the Philly Beer Loft at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. Caliente Golden was brewed with 100% Blue Agave Nectar. After the beer fully fermented, it made way to the bright tanks where it rested for a few weeks on Ancho and Guajillo chiles. The chiles were sourced and selected by the Four Seasons chefs and create a perfect marriage for the beer Dock Street and Four Seasons had in mind. At its core- Caliente Golden is a traditional Belgian Strong Ale- subtle toasty malt profile which quickly moves into notes of tropical fruits and spices and finishes with a mild residual heat and tanginess from the chiles.
NO BANK WEDNESDAYS! inspired by Occupy Philly EVERY WEDNESDAY STARTING DEC. 21ST The only way to take a stand is to start costing them money! Starting December 21th and every Wednesday thereon, Dock Street Brewery will not pay out to the One Percent.   Every time you make a payment with your credit or debit card, businesses have to pay fees to the credit card companies. Operating on a cash-only system allows us to keep the money in the pockets of the 99%. This is why Dock Street Brewery will not accept credit or debit cards on Wednesdays. Since we aren't paying credit card fees we will pass that saving on to you . We will give everyone a 3% discount.... just for using cash.  All day and night, everything will cost 3% less AND you will be keeping the movement alive!   One of the most recent issues to affect Occupy Philly is the eviction from City Hall.  As free thinkers, we realize the value of a space to convene and arouse momentum. Occupiers and Supporters, come take warmth in a beer at Dock Street. Leave your credit Cards home and make a statement. Hit them where it hurts!   PS. BEER 601: Advanced Beer Studies w/ DS at Drink Philly Thursday, May 17th 2012 This tasting sessions features several rare beers and will provide high level beer education to interested drinkers. Learn about pouring techniques, hops flavors, respecting the difference between bottle-conditioning vs. forced carbonation, how storing your beer affects it and a whole lot more. Tickets for the class which takes place at Drink Philly studio at 239 Chestnut Street in Old City are $20.
