We released Dock Street Mexican Lager on draught on International Beer Day earlier this month, and now we’re releasing 16oz cans with gorgeous label art by Miguel Sanchez, who also illustrated Dock Street Spirits Vicio Mezcal. Grab a 4-pack or a case at either location, and while you’re at Dock Street South, get some Churros to enjoy with a freshly poured pint!
Dock Street Mexican Lager - ABV 4.2% 20 IBUs
This light-bodied pale lager is designed to be incredibly easy drinking and refreshing. Brewed with a high percentage of flaked corn which contributes to the light mouthfeel and slightly sweet finish. As Mexico's single most important agricultural product, corn is traditionally used in many of the lagers brewed in Mexico that defined this style over the years. Oaxaca-based artist Miguel Sanchez illustrated the label, centering on corn as a symbol of wealth, struggle and identity to the Zapotec communities of Oaxaca and all Mesoamerican civilizations. Corn is also believed to be the origin of life. The puffer fish is a symbol of strength and self-protection. Sanchez also illustrated the label for Vicio Mezcal, Dock Street Spirits' award-winning mezcal. Serve with a lime and enjoy. ¡Salud!
