Nooked has always been a personal journey for me. A history of self care, artistic vulnerability, and pursued holistic freedom. This journey has been actualized through handcrafting.

Creating with my hands is a sacred practice in healing and creativity that has become vital in my life. It feeds me. With handcrafting, I am able to care for myself as a business owner and an artist, while creating products that explore deeper abstract concepts such as identity, mental health, sunlight, connection, sanctuary, home, nature, and history.

At the core of Nooked is a purposeful desire to manifest healing through creation; establish and cultivate legacy; and adorn each customer’s own personal journey with high-quality thoughtfully curated artisan goods.

OUR NAME

When I was a child my sisters and I came up with the word - Nooked. Yes, the phrase sounds a little silly, but it meant something to us. It stuck. Soon the rest of our family was using the word; our childhood friends were using it; and it even grew up with us into our adulthood. Whenever I think about that word, it makes me think of home. The best parts of home - and so when I decided to start designing and creating handmade products, I knew I wanted to share that feeling with the world. Thus, Nooked was born.
