Dock Street Brewery is seeking an energetic, team-playing Sales Rep super-star to join our family.
Our company is the oldest craft brewery in Philadelphia, but we run like young-gunners, and are looking for a Sales Rep that reflects that energy and Out-of-the-Box, Make-it-Happen magic.
We’re about to expand in a huge way - our newest location at 2118 Washington Avenue is slated to open in Summer 2019, and will more than triple our brewing capacity. There’s a lot of excitement and good vibes, both within the company and throughout the city, and the ideal Sales Rep candidate will start asap and keep that momentum going throughout our expansion and beyond.
The ideal candidate will also be organized and communicative, as this role is equal parts collaborative and independent, so being self-motivated and a good record keeper while working independently is key.
We are open to anyone who has a voracious appetite for learning how to navigate and conquer in a competitive and fast paced craft beer industry marketplace as well as an experienced individual who has the passion and drive to be involved in the craft beer industry. In addition, he or she must share company values of honesty and integrity.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- A valid drivers licence;
- A car or regular access to one for travel to promotional events, tastings/samplings, beer fests, etc.;
- The ability to lift and/or move and maneuver cases of beer and occasionally kegs.
EXPERIENCE:
A genuine passion for craft beer.
Food and beverage service experience preferred, not required.
Sales experience preferred but not required.
Experience talking about beer and a knowledge of beer, the brewing process, different styles, etc. Some training will be provided.
