Wu Tang Clan’s own

Inspectah Deck

will be partying with us at Dock Street Brewery in West Philly for the release of Dock Street Beer Ain't Nothing To Funk With

Wednesday, November 4th at 7pm

If you’re a fan of the ‘Clan, Inspectah Deck should be no stranger to you, and he’s certainly no stranger to our beer -- it’s been listening to his voice, and the rest of Wu Tang Clan, on repeat twenty four hours a day as it aged for six months in wine barrels.

Inspectah Deck is one of the top lyricists in hip hop history, crafting lines like these from "Triumph," considered to be one of his greatest works of wordsmithery:

I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies
And hypothesis can't define how I be droppin these
mockeries, lyrically perform armed robbery
Flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me
Battle-scarred shogun, explosion when my pen hits
tremendous, ultra-violet shine blind forensics
I inspect you, through the future see millenium

Inspectah Deck will be hanging out for photos, beers, and conversation, and DJ Sonny James will be spinning Wu Tang hits to send the beer off in style. Plus, we’ll be screening the classic 1980’s Kung Fu flick (and inspiration behind the Clan’s name) Shaolin and Wu Tang on the projector, beginning at 7pm.

Dock Street Beer Ain’t Nothing To Funk With will be available on tap and in 12oz bottles to go*.

(*Two bottle limit per person, and no growler fills.)

You'll also have a chance to see if there's a Method (Man) to our madness; since this whole experiment was done in the name of science (yeah, science!) you’ll be able to taste the non-Wu Tang Clan-infused control alongside “Funk With” to see if Wu’s beats really did affect the taste of the beer.

Beer goes on sale at 5pm sharp, and is available until it’s not.
