This Thanksgiving, we want to start the holiday season off right and spread some joy. Join Dock Street by sending a pizza to families with children experiencing homelessness here Philadelphia - food is love, after all, and there can never be too much of that.
Pay for a large (16”) pizza now through Nov 25th, and we’ll deliver it to Eliza Shirley House on Saturday, November 26th as a special post-holiday treat!* Dock Street is committed to matching donations by a minimum of 20%.
We’ll include your name on a printed card, along with any message you want to include (optional).
Since 2020, we’ve had the pleasure of working with you all to send nearly 400 pizzas and sandwiches to shelters and hospitals throughout Philadelphia, including two visits to the Eliza Shirley House, and it’s something the families (especially the kids!) have really enjoyed. We’re thrilled to do it again for Thanksgiving Weekend!
*If the number of pizza donations exceeds the need at Eliza Shirley House, we’ll pick a second (and third? We’re optimistic!) shelter to receive pizzas. We’re down to match and deliver as much as humanly possibly by our kitchen and delivery volunteers.
