We need someone to come hang out behind the scenes, take pictures of beer and pizza, attend events, and get people excited about the already exciting stuff we have going on here at Dock Street. There are a ton of fun collaborations, beer releases, and more planned throughout Summer and into Fall, so there will be plenty to do, lots of responsibility, and a lot of opportunities to plan, execute, and learn.
The National Reserve Came for a Private Performance at Dock Street Cannery With State House Sessions
Brooklyn-based band The National Reserve came by Dock Street Cannery in May to record their song "New Love" for State House Sessions. It was definitely a riff on the classic garage band jam sessions of yore - our lovely Cannery is build in a former auto garage, but we clean up nice and we have gorgeous cocktails, to boot.
Big news for Philly’s First Craft Brewing Company - we’re expanding with a 10,300 square foot brewing facility and mess hall at 21st & Washington Avenue, slated to open in Spring 2019.
Chill Moody Performances, Block Parties, Home-brew Classes, Chopped-style Cocktail Competitions, Doggo Happy Hours and so much more.
This is major, you guys: Earlier this month, Dock Street Cannery + Tasting Lounge was nominated for Best New Bar in Philadelphia by the folks at TimeOut Philly. We didn’t win - we lost to Royal Boucherie, Top Chef Nick Elmi’s newest spot in Old City - but we were in some seriously great company, including Oloroso, Friday Saturday Sunday, Suraya, Philadelphia Distilling and of course, Royal Boucherie.
We’re glowing, and we don’t just mean our bad-ass neon sign.
